A Valentine’s Treat to Make

I made this simple Valentine’s Day Kids Treat out of scrap paper.  I used a 4×6 piece of red dotted cardstock for my base, but you can use any size.  I added heart patterned paper to the red dotted cardstock.

The cute little bird is a Stampin’ Up Stamp.  I colored him with watercolor pencils and punched him out using a circle punch. Then I attached it to a red scalloped circle.  I punched two holes using a hole punch so that I could add then pencil.  Kids would love making this for their school friends for Valentine’s Day!

Thank you Sara at http://www.snugasabugdesigns.blogspot.com/ for a fun Valentine Challenge. Her challenge was to make a non-sweet Valentine treat. You can find inexpensive pencils at the dollar store if you want a non-candy, or you can use lollipops or Pixie Sticks.
