Butterfly Birthday Card using Stampin’ Up and Inkadinkado

I rarely make 6×6 cards, but I should!  I followed the sketch below from Simon Says Stamp to make this card, and since it “has alot going on” I knew I was going to need a bigger card.

I like the sketch.  It really allows you to use lots of different patterned papers together.  I used a retired paper pack from Stampin’ Up.  The butterfly is also from Stampin’ Up.  If you are interested in Stampin’ Up Supplies, visit my Mom’s Blog.  She just signed up to be a demonstrator, so she doesn’t have much on her Blog yet.  Birthday wishes is from the Inkadinkado Garden Party set.  I haven’t used that set in awhile, but it really gets used alot!

Also used for inspiration was this color palette from  Party Time Tuesdays Challenge Blog.  I love these colors so they were really easy to work with.
