Diaper Fold Candy Treat Holder Using Life’s a Beach Cricut Cartridge Flip Flops

diaper fold treat holder life's a beach cricut cartridge flip flops I have something other than a card to share today!  The Life Is A Beach Cricut Cartridge is my favorite this time of year.  As much as I love making cards, I also love all of the other fun things that you can make with paper.  Quick and easy Thank You gifts or party favors are great to make.  This one is awesome if you’re in a hurry.

The holder is called a diaper fold, and it’s the perfect size for miniature candy bars. I learned how to do the diaper fold from a Blog, but I forgot to save it.  If anyone has a tutorial, let me know so I can show everyone.   I will try to describe what I did, but it’s going to be difficult. To make this size, I started with a 6″x6″ piece of double sided paper.  Fold opposite corners in half to make a triangle.  Now, with the fold toward you, fold the right point across to the left side so that the point meets half way up the side.  Fold the left point over the same way.  Still holding it with the first fold towards  you, fold down the top flap.  You will see a pocket for your candy bar.  If you’re not going to decorate it, you don’t even need any adhesive. I used the Life Is A Beach Cricut Cartridge to cut the flip flops at 2″.  I added Prima flowers and a tiny rhinestones to the centers of them.  I punched the scalloped circle from a Stampin’ Up punch.
