Dog Card Using Animal Kingdom Cricut Cartridge

animal kingdom dog birthday card

Oh My Goodness!  This post was scheduled for Tuesday, but here it is Saturday, and I’m just now finding that it didn’t publish.  My apologies!!  This week’s {PIN}spirational Photo is this cute little girl with an adorable furry friend.  I made my card during a weekend crop.

My friend Shirley, was working on nautical scrapbooking layouts, and went to Walmart for rope and burlap ribbon.  When she returned, she had bought a huge roll of burlap that will last her forever.  We had a good laugh, and she told all of us that we had to use some of it before we left on Sunday.  Well the burlap worked perfectly with the yellow lab that I cut out on the Cricut using the Animal Kingdom Cricut Cartridge!  I also used a scrap piece of green cardstock that she had run through the Cuttlebug and inked with brown ink.  Shirley also gave me the dog bone buttons which were the perfect accent to this Cricut Project.

The Animal Kingdom Cricut Cartridge has several great dogs on it in additional to all the other animals.  I love the Labrador retriever since you can cut it out to have a Yellow Lab, Black Lab, or Chocolate Lab.

The bone ribbon and striped paper were in my stash.  The Happy Birthday, oval and long tag are all from Stampin’ Up.

If you would to see other Cricut Projects using this cartridge visit Animal Kingdom Cricut Cartridge.

It’s not too late to submit a project to {PIN}spirational Challenges for this week.  You might win a wonderful prize from one of our generous sponsors.
