I have two fun projects to share with you today. The Forever Young Cricut Cartridge features lots of great purses and bags that are perfect for tiny gifts like nail polish, lip balm, candy, and money. I cut a bunch of them out of patterned papers from Die Cuts With A View. The paper has glitter and embossing, so it gives the purses a realistic look. I finished off the Forever Young purses, I attached fabric flowers with craft glue.
Back in the summer, I used the Forever Young Cricut Cartridge to cut bags that looked like totes using bright summery patterns. They looked like beach bags and were oh so cute!
To get a nice size bag, I used the “Fit To Page” feature on the Cricut Expressions. It cuts it in the largest size that the mat will allow.
The Forever Young Cricut Cartridge is filled with lots of chic boutique shapes like sunglasses, perfume bottles, and lipstick. My favorite things on this cartridge is the purses, totes, and bags. They make wonderful party favors and gift bags.
If you don’t have this cartridge, you might want to add it to your Christmas list or treat yourself! It’s available on Amazon.
The next project is a chic holder for a bottle of nail polish and large nail file. I got the instructions and template from Split Coast Stampers. I added a snazzy tag using Stampin’ Up stamps and scalloped oval punch. To decorate the base, I dug through my flower stash and used three flowers layered and held together with a brad.
I was able to get the nail polish free from the drug store by using coupons! I was fortunate to find nail files that coordinate with the paper. They are from Thirty-One Gifts.
I can’t wait to make some of the purses and nail polish holders in Christmas patterns! I have a few nieces that will love these for Christmas. I’m doing a small vendor fair in 2 weeks. I’m planning on making some for that too. I hope you find time to make some too!
