Chocolate Handmade Card
How do you like this ‘Sweet” card? I saw a challenge on my friend, Athina’s blog, Stella Roo and Fena Too. She is on the Design Team for Loves Rubberstamps, and the whole chocolate thing, caught my eye, or maybe my taste buds! My Mom had the cutest set of clear stamps that she got from Card Makers Magazine. All the stamps had cute animals cooking, baking, and eating sweets. They were all so cute that it was hard to choose which image to use. I chose this sweet kitty mixing up a batch of fudge brownies. (Yes, I know she could be baking a cake, but I like brownies.)
I colored the image using Copic Markers. I’m getting better using them, and I really like how the kitty’s face turned out. The scalloped circles and flowers came from the Bloom Cricut Cartridge. The scalloped border is from Martha Stewart. The designer paper was from a K&Co. Kit. The “Sweet” dimensional sticker was also in the paper kit.

Wonder Woman!!!!
This is one of the most fun cards that I’ve made in a long time. I made 10 of them for a swap, and all of the ladies love them! The image is from Totally Stampalicious, which unfortunately is going out of business. They are having a great sale right now though, so visit their website. They are one of this week’s sponsors at {PIN}spirational Challenges and the prize is this stamp!
The paper is called Big Top from Stampin’ Up. The red stars were perfect! I used red glitter stars cut with the Cricut as accents. Everyone loved the sentiment for the inside of the card!

Today’s card is Clean and Simple! I have had the creeping crud for over a week now, and it was all I could do to get this card done. Create A Critter Cricut Baby Card with a Dragonfly
Purple! Purple! Purple! I’m stuck in purple mode! I’ve been making notecards for a friend, and so far, they are all purple. I love the purple cupcake photo as the inspiration for {PIN}spirational Challenges. I love purple and green together. The dragonfly is from the Create A Critter Cricut Cartridge. I love the Welcome Little One! sentiment. Can you believe that it’s a sticker?!?! It’s from SRM Press. They have lots of stickers that are perfect for making cards.
I added a little bit of ink and Stickles Glitter Glue to the dragonfly. I layered two flowers and added a brad to the center for the lower left corner. To finish off the card, I made a swirl of rhinestones coming from the dragonfly.
Here is the Yummy cupcake photo to use for inspiration this week. What will you come up with? Join us over at {PIN}spirational Challenges, and you might win a great prize from Robyn’s Fetish.

Stampin’ Up Butterfly Card Using Elegant Edges Cricut Cartridge
I love having the freedom to create cards using all different tools and manufacturers. I bought this Mocha Morning Designer Paper pack from Stampin’ Up. I’ve used alot of it already! The paper is a wonderful combination of browns, tans, gold and black. The gold has a shimmer to it, and there are two black patterened papers that are flocked.
The butterfly stamp is also from Stampin’ Up. I used the Elegant Edges Cricut Cartridge as the base to stamp the butterfly and the frame. I just got that Cricut cartridge for Christmas, but I can see how it’s going to be really useful for cardmaking.
I added a layered flower and bronze pearls to finish it off. I actually made a few of these, mixing and matching the different patterned papers. I didn’t stamp the insides, so that I could use them for any occassion.

Paper Doll Dress Up Mermaid Cricut Card
Whoa! That was my first thought when I saw the photo for this week’s {PIN}spirational Challenge. How do you like the blue haired beauty in this week’s phpto? I thought her flowing hair made her look like a mermaid so I used the mermaid from the Paper Doll Dress Up Cricut Cartridge. I added lots of glitter to her. The flowers and stars are stickers that came in the paper pack that I used. I added rhinestones to the centers of them for alots of bling! The “Whoa!” is also a sticker. Instead of ribbon, I added baker’s twine, which I’ve recently started using and LOVE!
I had some Designer Paper left over, so I put two strips on the inside with a blue glitter flower. I don’t make the insides of my cards as fancy as Athina with Stella Roo and Fena Too, but she’s such and inspiration to make the inside pretty too!

Easy Handmade Valentine’s Day Card
Today I have an easy Valentine’s Day Card to share. Sometimes, I just want to keep things on the simple side, instead of having every inch of the card covered with flowers and ribbon. This card goes perfectly with the photo at {PIN}spirational Challenges this week. These adorable giraffes just ooze love!
The stamp is from Heart Stamp is from Unity and the Love Stamp is from The Angel Company which is no longer in business. The background paper is from a black and white paper pack that I won at a crop. The oval and scalloped oval under the heart are Nestabilities. The small oval and scalloped oval are from Stampin’ Up Stamps. I colored the flower, leaves, and heart with Copic Markers and Prisma Markers. To finish the card, I added red rhinestone accents. I didn’t stamp the inside, and will wait until I decide how I’m going to use it….engagement, bridal shower, wedding, anniversary, or Valentine’s Day???
Now, head on over the {PIN}spirational Challenges and join in the fun. You could win a wonderful prize from one of the sponsors below!

Altered Metal Lunch Box Using Stampin’ Up Twitterpated
Do you ever start one of those projects that seems like you will never finish??? This was one of those projects. I had a plain white metal lunch box for almost a year before I decided how I was going to decorate it. When I saw the Twitterpated Line in the Stampin’ Up Catalog last year, I knew that’s what I wanted to use. So yep….I’ve had the supplies THAT long! When I saw the photo for the {PIN}spirational Challenge for this week, I thought, YES! I need to get that finished for this week’s challenge. I started it last week and figured that I had plenty of time to complete it. Last week we were without heat, and it was freeeeezing in my stamping room, so I didn’t get it finished until today!
Here is the {PIN}spirational Photo for this week:
I knew that I wanted dimensional flowers on the top of the metal lunch box, but couldn’t decide what kind I wanted. I’ve had the Spiral Blossom One Shapabilies Die from Spellbinders for a long time and hadn’t used it. Once I figured out how to roll the flower, I loved it! I used the whole spiral shape to make the biggest flower, and I used only part of it to make the medium sized flowers. To make the smallest flowers, I handcut the spirals. Here is a close up of the largest flower. I also added pearls to the centers.
This is the view from the top. I made 5 flowers (one is hidden by the handle) using coordinating paper. I hand cut and folded the leaves. I used a glue gun to attach everything, but I could have used tacky glue if I hadn’t been in such a hurry.
I love the fabric from Stampin’ Up, but I wasn’t sure what to do with it. I made this cute flower, and used some scraps to tie on the handles. I’m undecided if I want to cover the whole handle or if I like it with just a few ribbons. I love the pleated ribbon which is also from Stampin’ Up. I wish I had ordered it in more colors!
Come on over to {PIN}spirational Challenges and see what the other Design Team Members have created. Join us in the challenge and you could win a fun prize from one of our great sponsors!

Post It Note Holder Using Walk In My Garden Cricut Cartridge
Happy Saturday! I hope everyone is having a great weekend and doing something scrappy! The new semester started this week for my daughter. She went to Walmart to get some supplies, and one of the things she bought was Post It Notes. While she was at work, I made her this cute Post It Note Holder. I thought it would cheer her up when she was studying or stressing over a test. The colors match her bedroom perfectly. I might have to make her some big clips or something to go with the note pad! I used Bazzill Paper as the base. I love using Bazzill Cardstock for my projects, because it has a great weight to it. The designer paper was in a kit that I won at a crop. The kit had patterned paper, printed borders, phrases, and brads. I used the Walk In My Garden Cricut Cartridge to cut the ladybug. The dotted ribbon is Melon Mambo from Stampin’ Up.
Here is the inside of the Post It Note Holder. I used more of the designer paper and one of the borders from the kit. The “Love You” and tiny heart are from the New Arrival Cricut Cartridge. This was a really quick project, and my daughter loved it!!! To see more projects using these Cricut Cartridges, visit Walk In My Garden Cricut Cartridge and New Arrival Cricut Cartridge.
